The AGW has an honorary executive committee, which is appointed by the AGW members on a temporary basis. The executive committee consists of:

• the chairman, Mr. Peter Stubbe, chairman of the executive board of GEWOBA, Bremen
• two deputies, Mr. Jörg Franzen, chairman of the executive board of GESOBAU, Berlin and Mr. Robert Schmidt, managing director of VIVAWEST, Gelsenkirchen
• the treasurer, Mr. Wilfried Wendel, managing director of SWSG, Stuttgart and
• the secretary, Mr. Thomas Zinnöcker, chairman of the executive board of GSW, Berlin.
