The AGW has an honorary executive committee, which is appointed by the AGW members on a temporary basis. The executive committee consists of:

• the chairman, Mr. Lutz Basse, chairman of the executive board of SAGA GWG, Hamburg
• two deputies, Mr. Volker Riebel, managing director of Deutsche Annington Immobilien GmbH, Bochum and Mr. Klaus Stadler, chairman of the executive board of GEWOBA, Bremen
• the treasurer, Mr. Hans-Ullrich Melzer, chairman of the executive board of FLÜWO Bauen Wohnen eG, Stuttgart and
• the secretary. Mr. Dietmar Bock, managing director of GWG München.
